Sad Clown Oddly Nails Sia’s ‘Chandelier’ on ‘America’s Got Talent’
America’s Got Talent is no stranger to odd performers — but when Puddles Pity Party grabbed the mic, the judges were surprised. Puddles, a clown dressed in all white, shuffled onto the stage with his suitcase and silently greeted the judges. Puddles didn’t utter a word until he began his act.
The sad clown began singing Sia‘s “Chandelier,” albeit a few octaves below the original recording. He soon began belting the chorus to the amazement of the audience and judges.
The enigmatic performance strangely fit the song from the enigmatic songwriter. Sia has only performed in public with a long wig covering her face and with Maddie Ziegler dancing in her place in music videos.
Thankfully, Puddles Pity Party made it through to the next round on the show. Viewers will have to wait to see what his next performance will be.
