‘Impractical Jokers’ Prank One of Their Own With Fake Love Connection
Murray from Impractical Jokers had the tables turned on him when the rest of the jokers secretly hired an actress to flirt with him during a prank. Murray thought he was tricking an unsuspecting mark into thinking he was a psychoanalyst, but he soon found out the joke was on him.
Murray said a lot of ridiculous things, but Blair, his mark, always responded with subtle flirting. Emboldened by her flirting, Murray went off script and asked her if she’d seen the musical Hamilton and if she would like to go to dinner sometime. Blair, playing her role perfectly, told him, “We could make a whole day out of it. We could go to dinner and then go see Hamilton and that would be a lot of fun.”
Murray couldn’t believe his luck, telling her, “There is a serious connection right now — like, no joke.” But it was at that exact moment that one of the other jokers, Q, came in the room and revealed she was an actress. Murray was extremely embarrassed and kept yelling, “That wasn’t real?!”
Impractical Jokers airs Thursdays at 10 p.m.
