Amazing Battle Round Performance Leads to Rare Three-Way Steal on 'The Voice'
The battle rounds got underway Monday night on The Voice, and the show ended with a dramatic three-way steal attempt. Team Blake members Ashley Levin and Casi Joy went head to head, singing “How Blue” by Reba McEntire, and the ladies put on such an amazing performance that nobody wanted to see either of them go home.
After Blake Shelton decided to keep Casi on his team, Ashley was up for grabs, and it didn’t take long for Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, and Alicia Keys to all hit their steal buzzers. Adam quickly pointed out that he was the first to hit his buzzer, but then Alicia reminded everyone that Adam was the only one who didn’t turn his chair for Lauren in the blind auditions. Gwen, of course, used her relationship with Blake to sell herself to the budding country star. But in the end, Ashley decided to go with Alicia, which provided a sliver lining for Blake. “The only bright spot about the fact that Ashley isn’t on my team is that she didn’t end up on Adam’s team. So happy she didn’t pick him.”
