Alex Trebek’s Rapping Skills Just Keep Getting Better on ‘Jeopardy!’
The College Championship is happening on Jeopardy!, so what better time for host Alex Trebek to show off his rapping skills? With a category called “Let’s Rap, Kids!,” Trebek was able to repeat lyrics from rap superstars like Kendrick Lamar, Drake, and Kanye West.
“They mad they ain’t famous, they mad they still nameless … but we still hood famous, yeah, we still hood famous,” Trebek said, revealing a Kanye West lyric before joking, “I hope I don’t get an email from him.”
But perhaps the most memorable rap lyric Trebek uttered during the category came from a rapper named Desiigner.
“Panda, panda … panda panda panda panda panda,” Trebek said, much to the delight of the audience. “I was just getting into this rap thing. I’m not too good at it, but I was getting into it.”
