The most underrated streaming bundle deals of 2024 (so far)
I think we can all agree we’re well past the golden age of streaming and have officially entered the price hikes, mergers, rebrands and cancellations phase. And while I personally have been enjoying the top-tier content being produced across Max, Apple TV+, Amazon Prime Video and, okay fine, even Netflix on occasion, I do not enjoy the high cost of all my separate streaming service subscriptions.
Disney+, Hulu and Max
Best streaming TV bundle
Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ bundle
Best streaming bundle for sports fans
Xfinity Streamsaver bundle
Enter: the streaming bundle. A somewhat new development in the streaming age (but probably not novel to those cable veterans), and the perfect way to save for those who insist on trying to keep up content-wise and therefore need access to a lot of streaming platforms to do so (anybody else or just me?). Here are a few of what I believe to be the best and most underrated streaming bundles out there right now.
And if you're looking for a deeper dive into all of the best streaming services, Yahoo Tech has you covered.
This isn’t Disney’s first rodeo when it comes to bundling their services — but it may be their best option yet. Clunkily (but aptly) named the Disney+, Hulu, Max bundle, a subscription to all three gets you exactly what it sounds like: access to Disney+, Hulu and Max. You have the option to go for ads ($16.99/month) or go ad-free ($29.99/month), which gets you savings up to 38% off compared to individually paying for all three services.
If you don’t already get Hulu through their Black Friday deal and Max through a random family member’s account, this is a great option that really covers your bases, streaming-wise. You’ll get access to three very vast libraries, fully stocked with everything MCU, all those Disney princesses (new and old), Hulu’s helpful catalog of shows on-demand the day after they air — hello, Golden Bachelorette! — and the most recent seasons of House of the Dragon, Industry and White Lotus whenever Season 3 finally comes out.
Plus, Netflix’s deal with Warner Bros. Discovery is about to expire, so if you're in the middle of your annual Sex and the City rewatch
Disney’s other big bundle is a bit better for sports fans, with all the benefits of Disney+ and Hulu plus access to ESPN+ — which means UFC content, select F1 races, some MLB content, tennis matches and more.
You can get all three in the Trio Basic bundle (with ads) for $15/month, or $25/month for the Trio Premium (ad-free).
I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention a somewhat more traditional option for bundling all your streaming needs. If you have or want to switch to Xfinity for your internet or cable provider, you can add a $15 streaming bundle into the mix, the Xfinity Streamsaver bundle, which includes Apple TV+, Netflix (Standard with ads) and Peacock. Xfinity internet plans start at $30/month, bringing your total for the Streamsaver bundle to $45/month (that’s $10 of savings vs. subscribing to all those services individually).
