Christopher Kane Look 39 The Christopher Kane collection was so beautiful and it was hard to just pick one piece from it, but this two-tone velvet dress was as luxurious as it was sexy. I particularly loved the odd inclusion of the plastic buckle, a little off-centered on the hip, which somehow added another layer of sensuality. - Laia Garcia, Writer
Barbara Casasola Fringed Skirt
2 of 10
Barbara Casasola is a relatively new designer, having shown on the London runways for only two years. The Brazilian-born designer presented a lovely collection with lots of pleated minimalist shapes in mostly black, white, and Yves Klein Blue. Suddenly this multi-color fringed skirt came out and all my senses were on alert. It’s a crazy piece but also seems like the most versatile? You can throw it on over literally anything to make it a little but fun, and that’s the kind of stuff that’s worth the money. - Laia Garcia, Writer
Peter Pilotto Boots
3 of 10
The Peter Pilotto collection was a total Candy Land parade (well, it was actually inspired by Chutes n’ Ladders). The color palette was all white with pastels and a bit of neon color to make things interesting. The multi-color boots with a sensible heel are exactly my kind of “go-with-everything” shoe. - Laia Garcia, Writer
J.W. Anderson Wolf Sweater
4 of 10
J.W. Anderson is pretty much my everything right now, and being at the show only intensified all the feelings. The pieces were colorful, and a little bonks. As soon as this white velvet sweatshirt with a wolf howling at the moon walked by me, it became my #1 must have. As if a velvet wolf sweatshirt was not enough to be crazy, this one has balloon sleeves with a button detail at the cuff, a banded waistband, and an attached scarf. How could I not want it? And did you even see the earrings? Be still my beating heart. - Laia Garcia, Writer
Shrimps Coat
5 of 10
Yes, I want a fuzzy brown fur coat with crazy faces embroidered on it. That’s it. This coat is me. - Laia Garcia, Writer
Antonio Berardi Look 17
6 of 10
Berardi’s show was full of printed leaves, said to be inspired by the way the trees at the Bois de Boulogne reflected in the building’s glass. The color combination of gold-ish yellow, pinks and dark navy were not my favorites but this very beautifully tailored dress looks like a curve from an architecturally designed building and such a stand out amongst all the printed looks. - Dora Fung, Market Director
J.W. Anderson Look 34
7 of 10
Everything from this collection was fun, bright and to me is the ultimate in high low luxe look. He made looks and outfits that were cheap and tacky in the 80s into beautiful lurex knits, bright colored leather skirts, boots that reminded me of the boots that were popular in Eastern European in the 80s and the best accessories! This look is one of the more tame looks from the collection but still holds all the DNA of the collection. - Dora Fung, Market Director
Marques'Almeida Look 11
8 of 10
The design duo has found a signature style and they are sticking to it. The distress denim is still so good but pair with a turtleneck and deconstructed jeans this is London style at its best. - Dora Fung, Market Director
Simone Rocha Look 18
9 of 10
There were so many dramatic looks from the London runway the past few days but this black lace blouse and skirt from Simone Rocha is one of the highlights from that genre. Take it apart, wear the skirt with a simple black top, dark tights, the ruffles and the black lace will add details to an otherwise all black look. The blouse with jeans, a black pencil skirt or even with a simple A-line skirt would look stylish and elevate an outfit instantly. - Dora Fung, Market Director
Toga Look 27
10 of 10
What’s is London Fashion Week without some avant-garde and eccentric looks? Toga’s Japanese creative director Yasuko Furuta gave me just the right amount of that combination and this dress is so beautiful in person and not like anything I have seen all week. - Dora Fung, Market Director
Another week, another city gone by! As London Fashion Week draws to a close, here are our editors’ ten favorite looks from the British runways.
