Pierced Faces Rock the Runway at Alexander McQueen

On Sunday, the focus may have been on the Golden Globes in Los Angeles, but over in London, there was plenty to talk about thanks to Men’s London Fashion Week. We were particularly impressed by Sarah Burton’s most recent collection for Alexander McQueen. The designer sent an army of male models down the runway in Victoriana-inspired garb with a punk rock twist: crazy face piercings that made all of the models look like they came from a Sex Pistols show. We’ve seen face jewelry before, but nothing like this. Will fashion’s bravest opt to put a large safety pin through their face come this fall? Probably. Only the brave will know.
