Naomi Campbell Is Beautiful and Bare for New Givenchy Campaign
Naomi Campbell is more than an icon. She’s a supermodel twice over, having maintained a powerful presence in the industry walking runway shows and bagging major magazine covers well beyond the career spans of her contemporaries. She expands outside of fashion, getting lyrical name-checks from the likes of Beyoncé, DNCE, and Joe Jonas of late. She even has quite the growing acting career, most recently appearing on Empire. And yet here she is, still working.

Never having been afraid to show a little skin and give a bit of sex appeal, Campbell’s latest turn is as a topless face of Givenchy jeans. She’s grown quite close to the brand’s current creative director, Riccardo Tisci, and the star appears in nothing but her jeans with only a black bar to save her from Instagram’s modesty filter.
Hardcore fashion fans will note that this isn’t the first time Campbell has flashed a bit of skin for Tisci. Back in 2015 she took a strut down the Givenchy men’s runway wearing a Swarovski crystallized suit jacket and a thong.
The campaign was a Givenchy family affair, having roped in Carine Roitfeld as the stylist. The editor established a close relationship with Tisci, nurturing him and helping him ascend to the top role at Givenchy while she was at Vogue Paris. Now after leaving the publication and establishing her own independent glossy, CR Fashion Book, she continues to stay close to him. For the campaign photographer, Tisci went with a duo, tapping Luigi Murenu and Iango Henzi.

Campbell isn’t the only face, though. For her counterpart, Justin Levy poses as the face of Givenchy jeans for men. While he appeared as little more than a prop in the joint photo with the supermodel, Levy gets an image all his own, in which he wears sheer sleeves and jeans and shows off a rock-hard set of abs. The format of the joint photo follows that of other seasons, which have featured models like Gisele Bündchen, Irina Shayk, and Candice Swanepoel on the shoulders of male models. It’s the perfect lead-up to the next Givenchy men’s show in Paris during Men’s Fashion Week.
