The Teen Choice Awards style icon winner wore her new favorite silhouette to the MTV VMAs on Sunday. While she wore silver to the last carpet, she went for the gold in a really small mini, featuring cutouts and lots of pushed-up cleavage. She pulled her dip-dyed hair back into a high ponytail and accessorized with strappy sandals and ear cuffs.

For Kanye West’s big night — he was awarded the Video Vanguard Award — he chose to dress in his understated signature style, rolling up sweatpants and matching an oversized sweater with his Yeezy Boost sneakers. His pregnant wife, Kim Kardashian West, coordinated in a darker brown dress from favorite designer Balmain. The lace-up dress comes from the house’s Resort 2016 collection.

So Chrissy Teigen definitely isn’t wearing underwear with this dress. Following in the near-naked footsteps of Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, and Kim Kardashian, the model gave her predecessors a run for their money in a sheer embellished black gown.

Rita Ora, who recently started touring for her new album, wore a Vera Wang gown that somehow was both a full-skirt gown with a slit and super sexy cutout top.

The “What Do You Mean” singer, famous for his hair, debuted a new ‘do on the lavender carpet. The exaggerated side swept bang, a 2015 version of his former mop, was certainly the centerpiece, but his outfit was awesome as well. Wearing a leather jacket, he had on a black and white patterned button down underneath, which he paired with ripped jeans and suede boots.

Based on Nicki Minaj alone, one might assume this was the Golden Globes and not the MTV VMAs. The “Anaconda” rapper went for a naked dress look, showing off her belly button and various other assets.

Would the MTV VMAs be complete without a couple wearing matching Canadian tuxedos? Helen Lasichanh and Pharrell Williams did the honors this year, with Lasichanh in overalls and Williams in a jean jacket and cuffed pants.

The MTV VMAs has played host to some historic moments in fashion; from Lady Gaga’s meat dress and Beyoncé’s baby bump revealing gown to Britney Spears’ snake scarf and Justin Timberlake’s Canadian tuxedo. And the 2015 ceremony was no exception when it came to adding unforgettable outfits to the books. Miley Cyrus was obviously outrageous (her skintight fruit onesie behind-the-scenes before the lavender carpet even opened up set the tone for the night), Taylor Swift was in a matching set with her entire girl gang in tow, and Vanessa Hudgens was a total boho babe. Other attendees showed some skin with cutouts, leg slits, and crop tops, and various inventive ways to go nearly-naked while appropriately covering up for audiences at home.
