Now that Olympic tennis has concluded, with Serbia’s Novak Djokovik taking home the gold on Sunday, the U.S Open is near.

The summer competition returns to New York City’s Billie Jean King Tennis Center from Aug. 19 – Sept. 9. Fan Week will take place from Aug. 19 – 25, featuring the qualifying matches, a performance by Dierks Bentley and numerous sponsored events. But the official competition won’t begin until Aug. 26, kicking off with Men’s and Women’s First Rounds on that first Monday at 11:00 a.m.
If you’re looking to attend any of the matches in person, there are plenty of tickets still available online starting as low as $95. Tickets are available on Stubhub, VividSeats, SeatGeek and Ticketmaster. You can also find tickets on Ticketnetwork, where you can save $150 on any $300 order with the code VARIETY150.
Of course, if you can’t attend in person there are still plenty of ways to catch the action live from home. The U.S Open will broadcast on NBC and will also stream live on Peacock. World No. 1s Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek, alongside World No. 2s and defending champions Novak Djokovic and Coco Gauff, lead the initial entry lists for this year’s contest. Rafael Nadal has entered on a protected ranking.
As always, we can expect it to be a star-studded game. Barack and Michelle Obama, Zendaya, Tom Holland, Haley and Justin Bieber, Timothee Chalamet, Kylie Jenner and dozens of other bold-faced celebs made appearances last year.
