Does Dolphins QB Tyler Huntley prefer Tyler or Snoop? And will we soon see a Snoop package?
MIAMI GARDENS — Miami Dolphins quarterback Tyler "Snoop" Huntley was named for rap legend Snoop Dogg.
Does Tyler prefer Tyler or Snoop?
"My mama would prefer Tyler, but you know, everybody tends to call me Snoop," Snoop said in the Dolphins locker room on Wednesday. "So you can call me Snoop."

Has Snoop ever met Snoop Dogg, whom he allegedly once looked like?
"Yeah, definitely," Huntley said. "I met him at the Pro Bowl and then I met him last year when we went out to L.A. for a game."
But Huntley doesn't really look much like Snoop Dogg now?
"No, but back in the day I had long hair so you know I'm kind of similar to him," Snoop said.
Now that we have the nickname worked out, let's recall that Huntley was so good just two years ago that he made the Pro Bowl as a Baltimore Raven.
Tyler 'Snoop' Huntley has Pro Bowl pedigree
Huntley, 26, is very athletic and very strong-armed and he provides a very intriguing option if current starter Skylar Thompson were to require relief for any reason.
"Man, there's so much speed on the outside, you know," Huntley said after practice. "A couple of runs up the middle and stuff, you know, get the defense to play honest, you know. There's no way they can stick all that speed at once."
Is it possible Huntley is employed in a "Snoop" package of plays as early as Sunday?
Huntley, who is from Dania Beach, had a very interesting response to the proposition.

"So I'm going to try to learn the whole thing," Huntley said of the playbook. "And be ready for it all."
Huntley said Tua Tagovailoa has already helped him.
"I've been here 24 hours," Snoop said. "I've probably spent a good little hour or two on the field, meeting them a little bit, and then walk-throughs. I've just been talking to them, trying to get his grasp of the offense. He's great."
Huntley said he has, of course, learned a lot from former Boynton Beach High School and Ravens star Lamar Jackson.
"Oh, man, he's a gamer and he's just a playmaker and a great quarterback and a leader," Snoop said. "He just showed you the great aspects of winning games and just handling everything that goes on, on the field and off the field, and he's great, great to learn from."
