13 Packers among modern-era nominees for Pro Football Hall of Fame's class of 2025

Thirteen Green Bay Packers were included among 167 modern-era players nominated for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's 2025 class.

All of the Packers nominees have been nominated before.

The most recent Packers player to join the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, was safety LeRoy Butler in 2022. The Packers have 28 hall of fame members, second only to the Chicago Bears, who have 30 members.

The list includes:

• Donald Driver, wide receiver, played for the Packers from 1999 to 2012.

• Antonio Freeman, wide receiver, played for the Packers from 1995 to 2001 and again in 2003.

• John Kuhn, fullback, played for the Packers from 2007 to 2015. He also had one year with Pittsburgh and two with New Orleans.

• Dorsey Levens, running back, played for the Packers from 1994 to 2001. He also had one year with the New York Giants and two with Philadelphia.

• Jordy Nelson, wide receiver, played for the Packers from 2008 to 2017. He also had one year with the Oakland Raiders.

• Andre Rison, wide receiver/kick returner, played five games for the Packers during the victorious 1996 Super Bowl run. He also played for Indianapolis, Atlanta, Cleveland, Jacksonville, Kansas City and Oakland during an 11-year career.

• T.J. Lang, guard, played for the Packers from 2009 to 2016. He also played two years for Detroit.

• Jeff Saturday, center, played for the Packers in 2012. He played for Indianapolis from 1999 to 2011.

• Josh Sitton, guard, played for the Packers from 2008 to 2015. He also played two years for Chicago and one for Miami.

• Nick Collins, safety, played for the Packers from 2005 to 2011 before suffering a career-ending injury.

• Eugene Robinson, safety, played for the Packers in 1996 and 1997, including the Super Bowl XXXI team. He also played 11 years for Seattle, two for Atlanta and one for Carolina.

• Allen Rossum, defensive back, played for the Packers in 2000 and 2001. He also played for Philadelphia, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, San Francisco and Dallas during a 12-year career.

• Jahri Evans, guard, played for the Packers in 2017. Also played for New Orleans from 2006 to 2016.

Nominees include 94 offensive players, 56 defensive players and 17 special teams players. A screening committee will reduce the list to 50, with results announced in mid-October.

The 50-person Hall of Fame Selection Committee will reduce that list to 25 semifinalists. Another vote will create the list of 15 finalists, who will be discussed at the annual meeting ahead of Super Bowl LVIX. The new class can consist of three, four or five modern-era players under the hall of fame’s bylaws. Finalists must receive at least 80% support from the selection committee to join the class of 2025.

The selection committee also will chose three seniors finalists, a coach finalist and a contributor finalist.

The seniors nominee list includes 182 former players, at least 10 of them Packers, including Cecil Isbell, Verne Lewellen, Carroll Dale, Lavvie Dilweg, Boyd Dowler, Sterling Sharpe, Gale Gillingham, Charles "Buckets” Goldenberg, Fuzzy Thurston and Sean Jones,
