Zelensky to meet Biden, Harris and Trump in the US next week
US President Joe Biden is set to receive Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House next week, the administration in Washington said on Thursday.
Zelensky is planning to meet with Biden next week Thursday, while also holding separate talks with US Vice President, and Democratic presidential candidate, Kamala Harris, it said.
Zelensky recently hinted at the prospect of meeting Biden in Washington again and announced he was looking present the US president his plan for victory in the war against Russia.
Zelensky's office also officially announced the planned trip on Thursday.
Zelensky is first scheduled to address the UN General Assembly in New York and hold talks on the sideline of the event.
Besides meeting with Biden and Harris in Washington, he is also expected to meet with members of Congress, as well as Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, who will face Harris in the November 5 election.
Details about the planned meeting with Trump were initially not available.
Zelensky is also looking to meet with representatives of US arms manufacturers and energy firms, it said.
