Water use restricted in Sinclairville
Update: As of 1 p.m. Tuesday, the restriction has been lifted.
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Water use in the Village of Sinclairville has been restricted as of Monday morning.
Main water wells in the village had to be shut down due to an accident and a gasoline spill on Route 60.
Residents are asked to conserve water until further notice. This can be done by using less water for baths, taking shorter showers, using paper plates and disposable silverware and only running dishwashers when completely full. Residents are also being told to not let water run while brushing teeth, shaving, or when washing dishes.
