Wanamaker Road pavement repair project set for July
TOPEKA (KSNT) – The City of Topeka is planning two road work projects this month which will impact traffic on Wanamaker Road.
Joseph Harrington with the City of Topeka announced in a press release on Wednesday, July 3 that two projects are scheduled for different dates this month.
The first project will start on Monday, July 8 and end on Monday, July 29. The two west bound lanes through the first entrance west of Wanamaker on SW 17th Street will be shut down for repair work. A temporary single westbound lane will be provided in the turn lane while the two eastbound lanes remain as they area.

The second project runs from Monday July 29 and is projected to end the following week. The second entrance west of Wanamaker on SW 17th Street will be closed for pavement repair work. The westbound lane will be closed during this time while a temporary single westbound lane is provided in the turn lane. The eastbound lane will not be impacted.
