Two new traffic lights to be activated in Niagara County
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two new traffic signals are set to be activated on Wednesday in Lockport and Cambria.
The traffic lights will operate in flashing mode starting March 5 on State Routes 104 and 93 at the intersections of Townline and Plank Roads. The signal at Townline Road will flash red through March 11 while flashing yellow indications will be on State Route 104.
Flashing red indicates drivers should come to a complete stop and proceed when clear. A flashing yellow light means drivers should slow down and proceed with caution.
The traffic signal at Plank Road will flash red indefinitely. The Townline Road signal will stop flashing and activate in three-color operation on March 12.
Motorists are advised to use caution when driving in the area.
