Some AT&T, T-Mobile users having difficulties reaching 911 in New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Orleans Parish Communication District officials announced that the issue has been resolved.
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Officials with the Orleans Parish Communication District are advising residents who have AT&T and T-Mobile and are experiencing issues calling 911 to use its backup phone number.
Power outages reported in Southeast Louisiana ahead of Hurricane Francine
According to the OPCD, some AT&T and T-Mobile customers report having difficulties contacting 911 in areas impacted by Hurricane Francine.
OPCD officials said residents who are having issues contacting the Orleans Parish 911 can use the organizations backup number 504-671-3600.
