Storms forecast Saturday as Taylor Swift performs second Cincinnati show
A chance of thunderstorms is in the forecast Saturday for Greater Cincinnati, which may dampen the mood for concertgoers attending Taylor Swift's second consecutive show at Paycor Stadium.
While showers and thunderstorms in the early afternoon were not expected to be severe, forecasters said to expect a lull in the bad weather until the evening.
Gates to Paycor Stadium open at 4:30 p.m. Due to the threat of inclement weather, Swift announced she would take the stage at 7 p.m., an hour earlier than usual.
[6:00 PM] The complex of storms that will move into the local area tonight is already well-underway upstream of the area. The previous graphic regarding timing still holds. Expect there to be a rapid increase in lightning/storm activity in Tri-State/Cincy by 11 PM! pic.twitter.com/eRwQZ6Qsrh

There's a possibility of strong to severe storms between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m. Sunday, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio. Those storms could be accompanied by heavy rainfall, isolated tornadoes, winds and hail.
Forecasters say the storms are particularly expected to impact the region near and west of Interstate 75. Even if the storms aren't actively severe, there will be lightning and heavy downpours.
The show will go on even if there is rain or thunder, according to Duane Haring, director of stadium and event operations for the Cincinnati Bengals. If there is lightning in the area, the concert will be delayed, and instructions will be communicated to fans at the stadium.
Hey Cincinnati - Alas we’ve got another weather situation but this just means I get to see you sooner! I’ll be going on an hour early at 7pm - we’ll open doors at 4:30 ?? See you then!
