“Stay safe”: 9-year-old gives heartfelt gifts to deputy in Wisconsin
(WFRV) – Officials say one 9-year-old recently received a number of gifts from a sheriff’s office in Wisconsin after she surprised one deputy with multiple heartfelt gifts of her own.
According to a Facebook post from the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office, 9-year-old Allie and Deputy Zeumer met a couple of months ago while Deputy Zeumer was out on a call to service, during which Allie had made and given him a card telling him to “stay safe.”

Deputy Zeumer had reportedly told Allie that he would keep the card in his squad car as a way to always remember to stay safe while on the job.
On Tuesday night, officials say Deputy Zeumer, along with Deputy Kuklinski went back to visit Allie to prove that he had kept his promise.
Upon visiting Allie, Deputy Zeumer was once again surprised as Allie had made him another card and a heartfelt gift to go along with it.
As a way to show thanks and their appreciation, Deputy Zeumer and Deputy Kuklinski took time to show Allie around the squad car before presenting her with a Junior Deputy Badge, a couple of gift cards from the Police Lights of Christmas program, and some other gifts.
Thank you Allie for all of your support. We appreciate you!
