Serial burglar arrested for 25 different incidents since November 2022
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man who has been arrested over 120 times since 2006 has been arrested in connection with a string of robberies and burglaries dating back to November 2022, Buffalo police said Monday morning.
Corey Anthony, 34, was taken into custody last Wednesday. Police said he was arrested in connection with 25 different incidents, including 18 felony incidents, of burglary, robberies and larcenies. He was charged for his role in two robberies, 16 burglaries and 24 larcenies in that timeframe. That includes seven felony grand larcenies.
The alleged incidents took place at retail, grocery, convenience and department stores across North Buffalo, including on Amherst Street, Hertel Avenue and Elmwood Avenue. Police were able to identify Anthony as the same suspect in all of the cases.
Police said Anthony has been arrested 123 times in total since 2006.
