'He said concepts of a plan': Harris mocks Trump in first post-debate rally
GREENSBORO, N.C. - At her first campaign stop since her debate against Donald Trump, Vice President Kamala Harris mocked the former president for saying he has the "concepts of a plan" to improve healthcare in America.
Trump said at the debate that he'd only replace the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, if he sees a better and less expensive option. He could not offer the details of his plan and said he'd have more to add in the near future.
Harris took a jab at him in on Thursday in Charlotte over the answer. "You heard what he said in the debate. He has no plan to replace it."
“He said, he said concepts of a plan,” Harris told the audience, pointing and laughing.
At the crowd's enthusiastic response, Harris added, “Oh you did watch the debate?"
And Harris used a similar line against Trump on Thursday evening at a second rally in North Carolina.
"You remember? 'Concepts' . . . Which means no actual plan," she told a crowd in Greensboro.
Her remarks in Charlotte came shortly after Trump announced in a social media post he would not be debating Harris again.
The former president's refusal drew criticism from Democrats, and a response from Harris on stage. "We owe it to the voters to have another debate," she said.
