Republican pollster predicts Donald Trump loses the election after Tuesday's debate
Republican pollster Frank Luntz said Former President Donald Trump's debate performance could cost him the election.
Before Tuesday's debate, Luntz had previously said the winner of the debate would win the election, Piers Morgan said Wednesday while introducing Luntz on his show "Piers Morgan Uncensored." Vice President Kamala Harris was widely declared the winner after she baited Trump into angry, off-topic rants.
Lutz clarified he thought Trump bore the burden of losing in one of the worst debate performances he had seen in his career. After waffling on whether or not he would make a predicition, Luntz said,
"The answer is yes, I think that he loses because of this debate performance," Luntz said to Morgan.

Luntz: Trump performance was 'pessimistic, cynical, contemptuous'
Luntz set the scene by pointing out that there are very few undecided voters left and those in the battleground states hold the most impact, amounting to about 1% of the American people.
"The whole race is going to focus on ... this tiny sliver of the country, but they heard nothing from Trump to give them a sense of anything that would be diffferent going forward," Luntz said.
He also said Harris did not go into detail on her policy plans and used demeaning facial expressions that hurt her messaging.
But Luntz put the fault for the loss on Trump for going off on unsubstantiated rumors about people eating pets in Ohio and praising the Prime Minister of Hungary, a far-right leader.
"I actually think this is pretty bad for the entire country, that if these are the best that the Democrats and Republicans can do, it's pretty sad state for American democracy," Luntz said.
