‘Pray for rain’: West Lauderdale Water asking customers to conserve water
LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — The West Lauderdale Water Authority is asking its customers to conserve water due to low rain in the area.
West Lauderdale Water said their tank levels have dropped and are extremely low. The company is asking that customers do not unnecessarily use water at this time.
This includes using sprinklers, filling pools, or any outdoor water blowups and slides. West Lauderdale Water added that they apologize for the inconvenience that this may cause during the summer months.
The company added it is only doing this to ensure that customers continue to have water.
