Polk County experiencing fuel shortage following Beryl
POLK COUNTY, Texas (KETK) – The Polk County Office of Emergency Management announced on Wednesday that the county is experiencing a fuel shortage following Beryl.
Cooling, charging centers open in East Texas
According to a post on their Facebook, the emergency management office said that they have asked the state for assistance, and for the time being some local gas stations have reported having fuel.
The Polk County Office of Emergency Management said that the following gas stations have reported having fuel as of 9:30 a.m.:
Tobacco Barn in Onalaska: Regular, Premium, and car Diesel
Easy Travel Plaza in Livingston: Premium and Diesel
Shell One Stop by Reservation: Regular, Premium, car and truck Diesel
Shell at Beacon Bay: car Diesel
On The Road in Goodrich: Regular
The emergency management office also suggested that residents travel to Diboll, Lufkin or Woodville if they are in dire need of fuel and supplies.
