Subway surfer falls off top of train in the Bronx: sources
WEST FARMS, The Bronx (PIX11) – A subway surfer fell off the top of a train in the Bronx Thursday morning, sources told PIX11 News.
It happened near the East 180th Street subway station around 8:20 a.m. The 20-year-old man was struck by an unknown structure before he fell off a southbound No. 5 train, according to the NYPD.
He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
There were delays on Nos. 2 and 5 trains in both directions, but those have since cleared.
