Partial collapse at Hertel Avenue church leaves 1 injured
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — One person was hurt when the first floor of a Hertel Avenue church partially collapsed on Wednesday morning, according to officials.
The collapse happened at North Gate Christian Community, located at 60 Hertel in North Buffalo, just before 11 a.m.
The person suffered a hip injury. Emergency responders, including Buffalo fire and National Fuel, are on scene to assess the situation and ensure the public is safe.
The cause of the collapse is under investigation.
