New Orleans transit nearly back at full operation
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Transit in New Orleans is almost back to full service following the aftermath of Hurricane Francine.
According to the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority, full bus service had returned the day after Francine had made landfall, and by Saturday, Sept. 14, all streetcar lines, except for a few blocks along Canal Street which require bus service due to a power outage, are back to full operation.
