New Orleans church giving away TVs and more
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — On Sunday, Sept. 1, the Abundant Life Tabernacle Full Gospel Baptist Church in New Orleans will be giving away items to members of the community who are in need.
According to information from the church, located at 1701 Franklin Ave., the “Family & Friends Day” giveaway comes as a response to families who are dealing with hard times and economic setbacks.
‘Blankets for the Bayous’ pushes forward post-Hurricane Ida
The giveaway will start at 9:30 a.m. and is reportedly set to include items such as flat screen TVs, microwave ovens, air fryers, gift cards, household goods and more.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to register to vote during a voter registration drive that is happening on the same day.
