El Festival De íconos De La Musica Femenina Hispana Tour brings a lineup of popular Latina performers to the Fruit Yard Amphitheater. The concert features superstar Paquita La Del Barrio. She is legendary for her ranchera and other Spanish-language music. Also on the lineup are Lupita Infante, Flor De Toloache and Jacqie Rivera.

Triple headliners
The Help From My Friends Summer Tour pulls into the Ironstone Vineyards Amphitheatre in Murphys, featuring Switchfoot, Blue October and Matt Nathanson. The three headliners play the tour in a rotating lineup order. Switchfoot and Blue October are alternative rock bands. Matt Nathanson is a pop singer-songwriter.

“Yosemite Renaissance”
The 39th annual “Yosemite Renaissance” exhibit is currently on view in the Lobby Gallery at the Carnegie Arts Center in Turlock. The exhibit showcases works inspired by Yosemite National Park and the California Sierra Nevada region by artists from across the country. There are 50 works by 49 artists including paintings, photographs, sculptures, fiber arts, drawings, prints, watercolors, ceramics, digital and mixed media.

“Drag Me To The Polls”
“Drag Me to The Polls” at the State Theatre will feature a drag show by Katalina and a screening of the film “To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar.” The Get Out The Vote event is presented by the Modesto Progressive Democrats. There will be a raffle, snacks, beverages and a no-host bar.
