Michigan Street African American Heritage Corridor being awarded $500K
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Michigan Street African American Heritage Corridor is being given a $500,000 award on Tuesday.
The award, being presented by Erie County Legislator Taisha St. Jean Tard, will go towards expanding the visitor center’s parking lot.
The Heritage Corridor serves as a cultural hub in downtown Buffalo and works to educate residents on the African American experience in the city.
