Michael Kracker re-elected as Erie County Republican Committee chair
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Michael Kracker was re-elected to serve another term as the Erie County Republican Committee chair, the organization announced Monday.
Kracker was first elected as the committee’s chairman in October 2022, taking the place of Karl Simmeth, who didn’t run for re-election after three years of service. He has also been a senior advisor to State Senator Robert Ortt since July 2020.
“I am deeply honored and grateful for the continued trust and support of the Erie County Republican Committee,” Kracker said in a release. “Together, we’ve built a strong foundation for our party, strengthening our infrastructure, modernizing voter outreach, and expanding our donor base. These efforts have delivered real results, with historic gains in local elections, and we are well-positioned for more victories in the months ahead.”
The committee also re-elected Republican Election Commissioner Ralph Mohr, Robin Sion and John Schmidt as vice chairs, Patti Stephens as secretary, Henry Heppner as assistant secretary, Daniel O’Connell as treasurer and Kim Bowers as assistant treasurer.
