Meet the 11th Assembly District candidates in the Democratic primary in Tuesday's election
Two candidates are running in the Democratic primary for the 11th Assembly District seat of the state Legislature in the Aug. 13 primary election.
Amillia Heredia and Sequanna Taylor face off in the primary. There's no Republican candidate so the primary winner will win the Nov. 5 general election.
There's no incumbent in the race because the previous incumbent, Dora Drake, won a special election in July for the 4th Senate District seat and is running for a full four-year term in November.
The 11th Assembly District includes parts of Milwaukee further north and west of the 10th Assembly District, with Havenwoods State Forest as the center point.
