The McAfee Knob Trailhead Shuttle Service returns!
ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Roanoke County has announced that after eight long months, the McAfee Knob Trailhead shuttle has reopened for weekend service with new extended routes.
The new route runs from downtown Salem and the Interstate 81 Exit 140 Park and to the McAfee Knob Trailhead and Route 311 near Dragon’s Tooth.

The parking lot is still closed for construction, so it is advised to use the shuttle or find alternative parking.
Reservations are encouraged, but not required. Book your weekend ride for as low as $5 one way and $10 round trip, through the McAfee Knob Trailhead website.
