Marshall County man arrested for possession of child pornography

GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office (MSCO) says it has arrested a man on multiple counts of possession of child pornography.

The sheriff’s office said 28-year-old Corey Vickery was arrested and charged with five counts of possession of child porn Monday after a joint investigation with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.

Authorities said Vickery was arrested after a search warrant was served at a residence in the 2500 block of Deerman St. in Guntersville. Investigators were also able to gather evidence during the search.

According to jail records, Vickery is being held in the Marshall County Jail without bond. MCSO said Vickery’s bond will be determined after Vickery’s initial appearance in court.

The sheriff’s office said additional charges are expected.
