Man sentenced for injuring 3 in shooting outside Elmwood bar
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man was sentenced to over a decade in prison for shooting and injuring three people outside of a bar on Elmwood Avenue last summer, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office said Friday.
Dominique Singletary, 29, was sentenced to 12 1/2 years in prison. He shot three people on the 1100 block of Elmwood, in the heart of the Elmwood Village, around 2:30 a.m. on June 1, 2024.

One of the victims was seriously injured, and the other two suffered non-life threatening injuries.
In July, Singletary was located in Maryland and brought back to Western New York to face charges. He pleaded guilty to three counts of second-degree attempted murder on Dec. 15, 2024.
After he gets out of prison, he will be subject to five years of post-release supervision.
