Man killed after crashing into tree in Cattaraugus County
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A 69-year-old man was killed after he hit a tree with his truck in Cattaraugus County on Tuesday afternoon, according to New York State Police.
Police responded to State Route 98 in the Town of Freedom around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. The driver, identified as Thomas Kilmer of Scio, was traveling east, entered the westbound lane, left the road, and hit a tree.
He was transported to Chaffee Hospital in Springville and was pronounced dead.
