Man kidnapped from French Quarter, taken to ATM
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating after a man reported being kidnapped on Thursday, Aug. 1.
The victim reportedly told officers that at 11:53 p.m., he was approached by a man driving a white SUV in the 1100 block of Saint Philip Street and was demanded, at gunpoint, to get in the vehicle.

Officers report the suspect then drove the victim to a bank and demanded he get out and get cash from an ATM.
When he got out the car, he ran away and called police.
