Man gets 15 to life in fatal Masten Park shooting
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison for a fatal shooting in the city’s Masten Park neighborhood in 2022, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office said Friday.
Martinko Jamel Caver, 45, shot and killed 33-year-old George McGee, III with an illegal gun on the 300 block of Glenwood Avenue in the early morning hours of Sept. 5, 2022.
Caver pleaded guilty to second-degree murder on Nov. 25, 2024.
