Man arrested for air pistol incident at Genesee County school
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A man was arrested on several charges after he allegedly pulled out an air pistol and menaced staff at Alexander Central School Wednesday, according to the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials said Tyler Bull, 22, of Medina, physically assaulted a female during an isolated “domestic situation” in the parking lot of the school around 6 p.m. when staff attempted to intervene.
Bull allegedly half pulled out what appeared to be a handgun to menace staff. Further investigation determined the gun to be a CO2 air pistol. He was taken into custody without further incident.
There are no concerns for staff or students in the Alexander Central School District at this time.
The female was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for her injuries. Bull was held at the Genesee County Jail pending arraignment.
