Man accused of stealing more than $14K from Bath and Body Works
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man has been accused of stealing more than $14,000 in products from various Western New York Bath and Body Works locations, New York State Police said.
Eric Santiago Delmoral, 35, is accused of stealing the products during 10 different incidents for a total of $14,296.85.
He was arrested on Wednesday in connection to alleged incidents on Jan. 5 and 6 at the Clarence location, the second of which a suspect allegedly threatened employees by saying “I have a bomb” and “this is a bomb threat.”
Santiago Delmoral is charged with the following:
fourth-degree grand larceny
fifth-degree conspiracy (2 counts)
third-degree robbery
third-degree grand larceny
making a threat of mass harm
There are six Bath and Body works locations in Erie County: Buffalo, Blasdell, Amherst, Clarence, West Seneca and at the Walden Galleria. There is also one in Niagara Falls.
He was arraigned in Clarence and was remanded to the Erie County Holding Center.
