At least 1 killed in motorcycle crash on Smoky Hill Road
DENVER (KDVR) — At least one person is dead after a motorcycle crash at the intersection of East Smoky Hill Road and South Waco Street in Arapahoe County.
The crash shut down East Smoky Hill Road from Tower Road to South Telluride Street, and South Waco Street was closed in both directions at Smoky Hill. The road reopened a few hours after the crash.
According to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office, the crash was between a motorcycle and another vehicle. South Metro Fire Rescue also responded to the scene, which is in Centennial.

As of about 6:30 p.m., all lanes of East Smoky Hill Road had been reopened.
The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Safety Unit wants to speak with anyone with information about this crash or anyone who saw a motorcycle traveling west on E. Smoky Hill Road around 3:15 p.m. Witnesses are asked to call 720-874-3707.
