Kenmore man admits to hitting 63-year-old after Bills game
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Kenmore man admitted to hitting and injuring a pedestrian while driving intoxicated near Highmark Stadium after a Bills game last fall, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office said Monday.
Alfred Santiago, 40, hit a 63-year-old woman on West Abbott Grove Avenue following the game on Sept. 8, 2024. Santiago fled the scene and was located about 50 minutes later in Kenmore. The woman was taken to ECMC to be treated for fractured ribs and other upper body injuries.
Santiago pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an incident resulting in serious physical injury and DWI.
He faces a maximum of eight years in prison when he is sentenced on June 9. He was released on his own recognizance.
