Katalina’s, home of the pancake balls, to open third central Ohio café
BEXLEY, Ohio (WCMH) — Katalina’s, a central Ohio brunch spot known for its pancake balls, is opening a third location.
“Katalina’s Tres” is opening in Bexley later this year, taking over the building formerly home to Boston Market at 2741 E. Main St., the café brand announced Tuesday on social media. The 2,200 square-foot location will feature an expanded patio and a dedicated parking lot.
The new café will mark Katalina’s third central Ohio restaurant, after the first opened in Harrison West at 1105 Pennsylvania Ave. in 2010 and “Katalina’s, Too” opened in Clintonville at 3481 N. High St. in 2019. Announced in 2022, plans to build a Franklinton café at 480 W. Town St. were later abandoned.

Katalina’s is home to the “Original Pancake Balls,” filled with the customers choice of Nutella, Dulce de leche or pumpkin-apple butter. The “little café with lots of local goodness” also features Mexican “French” Toast, several breakfast and lunch sandwiches, “award-winning” breakfast tacos along with soups and salads.
Both Katalina’s are open 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. Learn more and view the full menu here.
