BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Jamestown man was sentenced to about 17 months of time served after thousands of grams of fentanyl, meth and cocaine were seized from a vehicle in 2020, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced Wednesday.
Kevin Hughes, 64, assisted co-defendant Jun Martinez in his drug trafficking operation and was convicted of narcotics conspiracy.
In September 2020, Hughes and Martinez were traveling in Frankfort, I.L., to acquire narcotics. Their vehicle was stopped by an Illinois State Police Trooper and a search revealed 3,157 grams of fentanyl, 9,589 grams of meth, 2,241 grams of cocaine and marijuana products. The narcotics were seized.
Martinez was previously convicted.
