Investigation proceeds after Scotty McCreery concert incident at Colorado State Fair
(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The potential charges a man could face after he allegedly assaulted a woman at the Scotty McCreery concert at the Colorado State Fair in Pueblo last weekend have been referred to the Pueblo County District Attorney’s (DA) Office.
According to Olga Robak, the Director of Communications and Public Awareness for the Colorado Department of Agriculture, the victim in the incident that happened on Saturday, Aug. 24, was evaluated onsite by EMTs and paramedics and declined to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance.
“The man who allegedly assaulted her was identified by the Colorado State Fair Police that night,” wrote Robak, who further stated that charges in the case have been referred to the Pueblo County DA’s office.
