Holiday Valley opening for season on Friday
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — After this past weekend’s snow, Holiday Valley will open for the season on Friday.
As long as the weather forecast holds, ski and snowboard season will begin at 9 a.m. with four lifts open: Mardi Gras 6, Yodeler, Tannenbaum and Creekside. The number of slopes is still to be determined.
Night skiing will also begin on Friday so lifts will run until 10 p.m.
Holiday Valley had initially planned to open for the season in November, but delayed the opening due to the warmer temperatures in recent weeks. Snowmaking is continuing throughout the complex.
