HEMSI: One dead after wreck near Chapman Mountain
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Officials say a person is dead after a single-vehicle wreck near Chapman Mountain.
HEMSI Spokesperson Don Webster said that the wreck took place at the interchange of I-565 and Highway 72 around 2:49 p.m. on Monday.

Huntsville Police say the vehicle was traveling westbound on Highway 72 east when it left the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment. Then the vehicle overturned, ejecting the driver.
One person was pronounced dead on the scene, according to Webster.
