Hamburg Town Clerk to be named interim supervisor
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Town of Hamburg has selected a new interim supervisor.
Cathy Rybczynski, the town’s clerk, will be the interim supervisor. She will be appointed by the town on Monday.
She will replace outgoing supervisor Randy Hoak, who announced in December that he would step down this month to pursue a new professional opportunity. Hoak took office for the first time in January 2022.
Meanwhile, Hoak was tapped to be the new Erie County Senior Services Commissioner.
There will be a special election in November to decide the full time supervisor.
