Glee's Darren Criss reunites with co-star ahead of milestone anniversary
Glee star Darren Criss has been reunited with his co-star Mike O'Malley as the hugely popular series approaches its 15th anniversary.
Criss played Blaine Anderson, the eventual husband of Kurt Hummel (played by Chris Colfer), while O'Malley played Kurt's father Burt Hummel throughout the series.
In a post shared by O'Malley on X, the pair can be seen embracing and grinning while pointing at each other.

O'Malley captioned the post "Heckuva son-in-law" in reference to their on-screen relationship, which was enough to stir up nostalgia and emotion in fans.
"Has enough time passed for a Glee reunion special?" mused a fan, hopefully.
Others simply thanked O'Malley for sharing the moment. "If only you knew what this has just done to my heart," said one follower. "Thank you for this truly this is exactly what we needed," replied another.
Criss was also recently reunited with Glee producer Ryan Murphy on the Netflix series Hollywood, which took place after the Second World War and saw aspiring actors and filmmakers pursuing their showbiz dreams.

Criss played Raymond Ainsley, a half-Filipino aspiring film director, aiming to break Hollywood boundaries. Since then, the actor has worked alongside The Boys star Jensen Ackles in the animated movie Justice League: Warworld.
Ackles and Criss voiced Batman and Superman, respectively, in the movie which also starred Stana Katic as Wonder Woman. The sequel Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths, was released in 2024.
Meanwhile, O'Malley starred as Roche in the dystopian thriller series Snowpiercer, which was cancelled after its third season, leaving fans frustrated with its cliffhanger ending.
