Gallery: Hurricane Francine’s aftermath
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Southeast Louisiana is awake and now assessing the damage left behind by Hurricane Francine.
WGNO crews traveled out to the areas across Southeast Louisiana with trees on the roadways or inundated with water.
Hurricane Francine made landfall on Wednesday, Sept. 11 bringing with it 90 mph winds and storm surge dropping between eight to nine inches of rain in parts of Mandeville and Lacombe, according to WGNO meteorologists.
